Is shipping free and are returns free? 

We know that you’re going to love what you buy. In fact, we're so confident, that we cover all of the shipping costs! We offer free shipping and returns anywhere in Canada. If for some reason you want to return an item, please contact us at info@diamondsdirect.ca for a free return shipping label. 

Do you ship internationally?

We're a Canadian company, shipping only within Canada. 

What is your warranty for loose diamonds? 

We protect your diamond for life! If you chip, crack, or lose your diamond as a result of a manufacturer defect with your engagement ring, on a one-time basis we will replace your diamond for free* (some conditions apply). We also offer 2-year engagement ring protection against manufacturer defects and complimentary ring spa treatment for life, which provides you with access to free ring cleanings at any of our showroom locations. 

  

Can I upgrade my diamond at a future date? 

At Diamonds Direct, you gain access to exclusive upgrades. Bring your diamond back at any time and receive 100% of your initial diamond purchase towards the purchase of a new diamond. The new diamond must be at least 50% greater in value than the initial total purchase price of your diamond and engagement ring. By way of example, if you purchased a $5,000 diamond together with a $1,500 engagement ring for a total purchase price of $6,500, you could bring the diamond back and receive $5,000 back to be used towards a diamond with a price of at least $9,750. 

How do I get an appraisal? 

Upon request, all of our diamonds and engagement rings come with a free certified appraisal that can be used for insurance purposes. 

Is there a warranty on your jewellery?

We offer a 1 year warranty against manufacturer defects. In the rare event that you notice an issue with your jewellery, we'll make sure you're looked after asap. 

Do you offer payment plans? 

We understand that buying a diamond is a big purchase. We offer select monthly payment plans. Please contact us and we will gladly explain all the details to you! 

What is live market pricing?

We want you to know all about live market prices. But it's not something we can easily explain or provide access to on our website. Book a digital or in-store appointment at one of our showrooms and a certified advisor can provide you with all the insider access you need!

Can I return a loose diamond?

We provide 30-day full refunds and 60-day diamond and setting exchanges! If you’re not happy with your ring design, no problem! We can return your item for a full refund within 30 days, provided it is in new condition and was a stock ring. An exchange is available after 30 days for your diamond or ring. The only exception is a “special order” or “custom” engagement ring, which is final sale.  

What is the "Est. Retail" or "Estimated Traditional Retail" price next to the "Shopping DIRECT™" price? 

Major brands in our industry markup their products with excessive retail prices. We do things differently. Our product price comparison feature is designed to help demonstrate how you save shopping DIRECT™, as opposed to shopping with a traditional jewellery or diamond retailer. That's why we show you two prices. The "Est. Retail" price is only an estimate. It represents what a traditional retailer may price that item of jewellery at based on industry markup practices, as markups amongst retailers vary.
